Welcome to First Grade Super Stars!
My name is Stephanie Wehrmann.
This is my second year teaching at Fannie Fitzgerald Elementary School.
I got married in October 2008 to my wonderful husband Josh. We have two dogs; one named Sammy and the other named Parker. We just had a beautiful baby girl on August of this year. Her name is Savannah. I graduated with my Masters in Elementary Education from George Mason University.
I want to welcome all of you to our classroom. It should be a wonderful year of using our imagination, creativity, and learning!

Class Announcements Field Trip!We are really looking forward to our Spring Field Trip. It will be Thursday, May 20th. We will be taking a trip to Mount Vernon; home of George Washington. It will be $7/child and $11/chaperone. Field trip permission slips will be coming out soon! Look for it in your child's Tuesday folder!
St. Patrick's Day!We had an awesome St. Patrick's Day! We learned that St. Patrick is a real person. Ask your child what they learned about the special "green" holiday!
SUPPLIES NEEDEDParents, please read the announcement below regarding supplies. Most students are out of glue sticks and crayons. Please ask your child if they are in need of any of those supplies. Students are having to borrow each others things which can become very disruptive.
Thank you! 100th DayThank you to all that brought in snacks to share with the class for 100th day. We had a lot of fun!

Word StudyThere will be no Word Study this week. We will be taking the test this Friday using the words from the previous week. Word Study will start back up next week.
SUPER STAR HOMEWORKEach night, you should...
*Read (at least 15 minutes) and a parent/guardian should sign your monthly calendar. *Word Study (each night is a different assignment-the test is given on Friday) *There is sometimes a math sheet. If so, please return completed the following day. |
